Delete your account

Takes effect immediately. It cannot be undone.

You can delete your EachSwipe account from inside the app, or by asking us. Either way the same things are removed.

In the app

1. Open Settings from the tab bar.
2. Scroll to the bottom, below Sign out.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Without the app

Email hello@eachswipe.com with the subject "Delete my account", from the Google or Apple address you signed in with. We verify the sender and delete the account within seven days, and confirm by reply. This also works for a waitlist entry that was never approved.

What is deleted

• Your profile: email, name, picture, age group, language and learning goal.
• Your interests, watch history and video requests.
• Notes you left on videos.
• Your notification token.

What is kept

Videos themselves are not personal to you and stay in the library for other members. Server logs that may contain your email are kept for up to thirty days for security, then removed. Backups are overwritten on a rolling basis, usually within thirty days.
